The College of New Jersey (TCNJ) is accredited by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education (MSCHE). To maintain accreditation, MSCHE requires that we engage in a self-study process of self-reflection and analysis culminating in a self-study report.  Our last self-study, Mapping an Exceptional Path, was completed in 2014-2015.  Our new self-study process started in Fall 2023 with members of our community attending the MSCHE Self-Study Institute and MSCHE annual conference to prepare for our new self-study.  Our self-study process will conclude in Fall 2024 when we host an evaluation team from MSCHE.

The College of New Jersey is formally notifying all institutional constituencies, including the general public, that the Middle States Commission on Higher Education (MSCHE) makes available the opportunity for all constituents, including students, employees, and others, to submit Third Party Comments regarding the institution’s compliance with standards for accreditation, requirements of affiliation, policies and procedures, and applicable federal regulatory requirements in accordance with the Commission’s Third-Party Comments for Institutions Under Review Policy. Please use this link to submit a Third-Party comment to MSCHE.
